Logging attendance and Analytics

Employees can log their attendance using multiple authentication methods — facial recognition, NFC tag, QR code and manual method (via email/phone no.). Please note that the employee should be at the project location for logging attendance as the GPS location is verified, unless their schedule allows to log without location.


🚦 Logging attendance via mobile app

  1. Once user opens the InnClock app, they will be shown 'Clock In' option if they're on their assigned project location. If part of multiple locations, they can switch to another one from dropdown on top.
  2. Click on 'Clock In' button and verify your identity via available authentication methods and your attendance will be marked.
  3. Employees can also take a break, resume work after break and log off (clock out) for the day using same method as above.

🚦 Logging attendance via Kiosk mode

Once switched to kiosk mode, tap anywhere on the screen and verify your identity via available authentication methods and your attendance will be marked.

If set up via their schedule, employees are required to answer certain questions while logging attendance and their managers are informed of their responses. In such case, their attendance will not be marked until approved by their managers.


🚦 Team's current attendance status

Crew managers and Admins can view their team's current attendance status i.e., who is working, on a break or logged off in a given moment. To view the status:

  • Click on 'Team Status' option on the Home screen and you'll find who is working from the team.
  • Managers can also end any member's work shift (clock out) for the day by clicking on 3-dot menu against each member.

🚦 View and update time logs

Crew managers and Admins can also view their team's attendance logs for any previous date and edit the data if required.

  1. Click on 'Time Logs' option on the Home screen and you can see team and your own time logs, along with total working hours, break hours and overtime hours.
  2. For each date, the member's complete log history of is shown. You can add a new attendance log by clicking on 'New' button on top, or edit an attendance log group.
  3. Edit time - allows you to edit timestamp for all the log entries of a group to your desired time.
  4. Split log - allows you to break an attendance log group into multiple parts in case you want to edit only a certain part of attendance log.
  5. Clamp time - if enabled via schedule, this feature allows you to change registered log in and log off times to work start and end times for easier calculation. For eg, 09:07 AM can be clamped to 09:00 AM for easier payroll calculations.
  6. Transfer log - allows you to transfer any attendance log group to another crew within same or different project.
  7. Delete - this will delete the attendance log and cannot be reversed.

🚦 Logged hours analytics

You can also view logged hours analytics of any person in a given week or compare multiple people on a given date.

  1. Click on 'Tracked Hours' option on the Home screen and you'll find analytics by days and by people.
  2. By Days - select any week and a person and you can see their working, break and overtime hours, most and least used authentication method. This helps in tracking a person's attendance history over a week.
  3. By People - select any date and a max. of 10 people at once and you can see their working, break and overtime hours, most and least used authentication method. This helps in comparing your team's attendance on a given date.
  4. You can also select people across project and crews to compare their attendance history.
